The financial stuff

Very busy since I made the offer on the land. (It’s raining now for the first time in over a month, and I’m thinking of “my” trees, and how much they’ll be enjoying it. And the creeks won’t be dry any more, I imagine). The agent says it’s OK with the seller if I go back and walk the land some more, but I’d like to be further on with the refinancing before that happens. So… the money part… I’m optimistic that all will go through, but it is probably going to take at least a month for all the appraisals and surveys to happen, and for the money people to say yes. I told myself that nothing about this venture should be stressful – yeah right. But on the plus side, it’s made me look very carefully at where my money is going every month, and I realize some changes need to be made a.s.a.p. – that second, foreign, pay-monthly cell phone needs to go for sure.
